1.1 Background of the Study
Political instability is a major obstacle to economic development, particularly at the grassroots level. In Kano Municipal Local Government, Kano State, periods of political unrest and tension have led to disruptions in governance and economic activities. This study explores how political instability affects grassroots economic development in the region, particularly in terms of infrastructure, business activities, and public services.
